Makeup has always been associated with cost, time-consuming, and redundant products, stigmatising females that love beauty. Efficiency in doing makeup has been overlooked.
This project looks at how travellers do makeup on-the-go, who values both beauty and efficiency. The design creates a customisable makeup-kit for girls to do makeup quickly and easily on tours.
Touch_up combines a makeup storage dial and multifunctional tools into a lightweight and portable design. The kit is ergonomically shaped and matches female travellers' style.
The modules hold powder, liquid, and cream-based makeup, with extra dial storage underneath. It is open-sourced with STL file and sticker sheet online for customisability. Featuring a dial compartment, double-sided cushion, and rotary multi-tip brush, the design allows fingertip swapping of contents and tools during travel.
